The insurance sector tends to relax a little around this time of year, extra holidays, Christmas parties and present buying, but what of the new acts 'Bribery and Corruption' are insurance companies more concerned about the use of wine and champagne that they send to their favourite brokers or if the brokers treat their best clients to expensive meals.
There maybe evidence that some some insurers and brokers are cutting back on their offering to their more productive businesses, however most of the insurance industry seem to be of an attitude to carry on business as usual.
More recently however we were ourselves taken to a very up market restaurant by a large Professional Indemnity Insurance provider, and when the final bill arrived the two companies at the dinner one a broker and the other an insurer shared the total costs.
